JUDiTH

Joining Unique Diverse Individuals Through Homesharing

Named after a beloved friend of mine that I lived with until she died, JUDiTH is about aging with dignity and agency, prolonged community and getting to stay in one’s own home. The JUDiTH Matching Program is a unique offering that connects older adults who want to age in place with younger individuals seeking affordable, values-aligned housing.

Unlike traditional caregiving or roommate arrangements, JUDiTH fosters intentional, reciprocal relationships rooted in trust, autonomy, and mutual respect.

Who This Is For:

  • Elders wishing to remain in their homes with light household or emotional support

  • Younger individuals seeking meaningful, work/trade housing arrangements

  • Families looking for alternative support models for aging loved ones

  • Community members interested in intergenerational connection

How It Works:

  • 📝 Thoughtful Matching
Participants complete a detailed intake exploring lifestyle, values, and needs

  • 🤖 Smart Technology, Human Oversight
Matching is facilitated by an enhanced compatibility system that balances autonomy and alignment

  • 📑 Clear Agreements
Every match includes a written contract outlining roles, responsibilities, and boundaries

  • 🧭 Support, Not Supervision
I continue through the year-long agreement to support with conflict resolution, wellness check-ins, and access to eldercare education and planning tools

Core Values:

  • Mutuality, not dependency

  • Dignity and independence for all participants

  • Cultural and spiritual sensitivity

  • Home as a space of connection, not just shelter
